Jungle Jordan 6/4 to break bush tucker trial record
Katie Price burst into the ‘I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!’ camp last night and Sky Bet have unveiled a host of special betting markets on the two-time jungle Jane.
Having been voted by the public to do her first trial last night, Price is just 6/4 with Sky Bet to break the world record for most bush tucker trials, which is currently held by series seven’s Janice Dickinson, who was put to the test 10 times.
Sky Bet have already cut Price’s odds of being crowned queen of the jungle to 8/1 (from 12/1), after a run of support for the mum-of-three and she is odds-on (4/6) to do better this year than last time she appeared on the show in 2004, when she finished 5th. Sky Bet make her 14/1 to be the first celebrity to be voted off the show.
Sky Bet’s reality TV betting spokeswoman Helen Jacob said: "The public’s appetite for Katie Price shows no sign of abating, which means that she is likely to be voted to do the gruesome trials night after night. Despite all the bad publicity she has received this year, Katie still has an army fans and it would be a big shock to see her voted off first."
Having found love once already in the jungle, Price is 33/1 with Sky Bet to strike up a relationship with camp heart throb, Stuart Manning. It’s a 16/1 chance that Jordan dumps current beau, Alex Reid during her stay in the outback, while it’s 4/1 that she weds the martial arts expert in 2010. Sky Bet also offer odds of 8/1 that Katie remarries Peter Andre by the end of next year and 5/1 that she is crowned celebrity mum of the year for the second time.
Jimmy White has been overwhelmingly popular in the ‘I’m A Celebrity’ betting so far and is Sky Bet’s 7/2 favourite to win the show. Chef Gino D’Acampo is also attracting support, with Sam Fox another big market mover, having been backed down to 6/1 from 14/1.
