Picking Teams
Celebrities were told that they would have to live in teams for the next couple of days as they completed the Gameshow Challenge.  The two teams would compete against each other for immunity in the first elimination.  The winning team would be immune from the first eviction.

The camp picked sticks to decide two captains – Stefanie and Pat were the Orange and Blue team leaders respectively.  Stefanie picked Fatima, Antony, Willie, Lorraine and Sinitta; Pat picked Mark,  Dougie, Jessica-Jane, Emily and Crissy.

Antony, clearly miffed with his team mates said “Oh I don’t know.  I ’m with the old duffers.  I’m with Team Saga.  Saga Holidays.  Over 70s.   I’m sad I’m not on Dougie and Mark’s team but we’ll just have to push forward won’t we.  At least I’m not on that tedious f*** Pat f***ing Sharp’s team!”

Pat made no bones about his motives for having picked Jessica-Jane and Emily.  “If there are some pretty girls and there always are it’s always good to have a gander.  Tarzan didn’t spend his whole life swinging in the trees.  He also checked out Jane”  But later he said “My choices for the blue team were picked on the fact I went for strength and age to be honest.  Mark looks like a strong guy.  He’s our Fatima Whitbread.”

Crissy wasn’t very optimistic about her luck.  “I’ve never come first in anything.   I was even my husband’s second wife” she joked.

Fatima was more positive.  “Let the games begin” she said in camp.  And later she said “I’ve been focusing, getting myself prepared as I would a major championships and I’ve got one thing to say.  ‘Bring it on!’”

Dart Attack
The first game was called Dart Attack and it was hosted by Ian Smith better known as Harold Bishop in Australian soap Neighbours.  Each team had to select two celebrities to play the game.  One would throw a dart onto a dart board which had been sectioned into subjects; the other would have to answer a question.  If the question was answered correctly, that team would get a point and their opponent would get an electric shock.  Answer wrong and receive an electric shock. To make matters worse, the celebrity had to stand barefoot as various jungle critters crawled over them as they threw.

Willie was first to throw and Antony correctly answered that Rome was the capital city of Italy.  Dougie then threw for the blue team with Pat answering that Canberra was the capital of Australia.

Antony didn’t know what Toady’s occupation was in Neighbours and so received a shock.  But also lost the challenge for the orange team, resulting in a gunking for his team members but worse sentencing them to a night in the Jungle Sin Bin.

The Sin Bin
The losing orange team returned to the camp and had to stay in the Sin Bin – a segregated area which only had a letter box for communication with the main camp.

Lorraine was upset because she felt that she bothered about everyone but that no one went out of their way for her. ”I worry about Stefanie.  I worry she’s cold.  Not one bugger worries about me.  This is a nightmare for me.”

Antony took the criticism personally as Lorraine had asked him to fetch her hairbrush and he’d got distracted.  “It’s not your fault.  Did I say it was your fault?  You asked me why I’m crying and I’m telling you.  I asked you to get my brush.”

Willie calmed Lorraine down and told her to get on with it.  Lorraine said that she felt like she had “done something wrong”.  But he said “Shut up and get on with it.  That’s all we can do.”

Meanwhile Sinitta sat swathed in all of her clothes, jumping at the insects in the Sin Bin.

Dinner In The Sin Bin
The victorious blue team took delivery of dinner – a crocodile’s foot with vegetables.  Antony, confined to the Sin Bin tried to direct the cooking of the food remotely.  “Show me the food” he shouted through the letter box.

But Pat pointed out that they should practice without Antony.  “Guys, we’re going to have to work this out because one day Antony might not be here.”

The blue team all pitched in and cooked, led by Mark.  “This is the first time I’ve cooked. I’ve had to wait until the chef is in jail before I can” said Pat.  But after a while he confessed that he missed Antony making the food for them all.  They passed dinner through the letter box to the orange team – only Stefanie complimented them on the meal.

And Mark had an unlikely fan in Lorraine.  “When I first saw him, he took my breath away.  I couldn’t believe he was so handsome.  Those looks.  Extraordinary aren’t they?
