Antony decided he was jest not playing and disobeyed royal orders by refusing to be the camp jester for the day.

Willie and Lorraine were reallocating the duties of their servants to make the camp run smoothly and commanded Antony to entertain them after dinner, as Chrissy had done the night before.

“I can’t do it, I can’t do an impromptu and ad hoc turn, it’s an art form and I’ll need four weeks of rehearsals, not five minutes.”

Antony swapped roles with Mark and became the cleaner, Chrissy was made washer woman, Fatima the cook, Jess was the skivvy, Dougie the woodman and Emily was named as ‘camp bike’ to power the shower.

Said Mark: “The term camp bike is not respectable but it’s only for a giggle. She’s not a bike, she’s a good girl.”

Many of the celebrities woke up grouchy and in a rebellious mood with Lorraine and Fatima crossing swords.

Lorraine had had a disturbed night’s sleep and went to bathe on her own rather than waiting for her man servant Dougie.

Said Fatima: “I told them (Lorraine and Mark) that they do not take a bath without a towel holder.”

Lorraine hit back: “Don’t keep telling me what to do, don’t start the day like this.”

Fatima replied: “Well you are the princess and should be the one who knows.”

“As a princess I can break a rule every now and again.”

Mark was then told to get up and start his duties of filling the water and maintaining the fire. “It feels like I’ve got my Mum and Dad around all the time. I’m not an argumentative person but my job is to fill water and maintain the fire.”

Antony corrected him by saying: “That’s not the spirit of it Mark. We’re all putting in; don’t come across as someone who is not joining in the spirit.”

Act Of Treason

Antony and Dougie are chosen to be royal traitors and over the next three days will be given tasks designed to sabotage camp and ultimately the rule of the Prince and Princess. For every task they successfully complete they will win a package from a loved one for a camp mate. If, however, they are discovered, they will lose their gift and will face a stiff penalty. Their first act of treason is to burn a crown in the fire.

Dougie had the perfect excuse to get the fire going as he was the designated woodman. An excited Antony cunningly picked up Lorraine’s crown on a rubbish sweep and hid it in a brown paper bag and put it on the fire.

Lorraine returned and searched everywhere for her crown. “Only I can lose a crown – look at the colour of it, it’s red. I feel silly I’ve mislaid it, I wonder if Dougie has knicked it because he’s cheeky and it certainly hasn’t disappeared into thin air.
