Joe Swash
Joe and Esther went off for a walk through the rainforest where Joe sounded off about the events in the Camp.
He said: "I’m disgusted by it. The way they’ve treated David and Timmy. Nicola and Dani. It’s like they think they’re the It Girls of the crowd. They want to pull all the strings and whispering and gossiping and snipey looks. Why do you two think you’re so special? Why do you think you have more right to be in here than Timmy and David? Are they that arrogant and naive they can’t be bothered to scratch the surface and find out about them? They haven’t even bothered with them."
"David came in with such a bad attitude and I don’t like his attitude but that wasn’t my final opinion. He’s a blinding fella."
"Little things like Timmy comes back and he’s won all the prizes and he’s explained what he had to do and there’s Nicola (saying) just tell us how many stars you’ve got. Just f**king wait."
He continued: "And with the cooking yesterday. How dare Dani talk to you like that. Dani says go away, leave me. No Dani, you f**k off."
"Nicola thinks she’s so high and mighty that everyone’s too scared to take her on, to have a different opinion to her and I’m not. I’m not worried about her. I don’t have to see these people when I get out of here. Everyone’s having their own experience in here. Why make it worse for other people."
"I’m going to forget about it today. They haven’t down anything wrong to me but if I see it happening I’m going to stand up and say something."
Esther replied: "That’s right. And if I know it I will support you and if you hear me you’ll support me and that way they haven’t got their power base."
"They’re making me question myself. Am I seeing things? Am I over reacting to things?"
Esther said "No think you’re seeing under currents and it’s important to catch them at this stage."
Joe said "Cos I’m in that kind of bracket where I’m not with them. I haven’t got a group. I’m kind of floating."
Esther agreed. "I haven’t got a group. George is floating I don’t know where Robert is!"
