Wearing his Spock ears, George told how Leonard Nimoy developed the character of Mr Spock: ‘Leonard had to play a very unusual character, an alien that was half human and half Vulcan. He’s got supreme self confidence except for one bit of insecurity: he’s not sure of the human side of him. They are completely controlled in their emotion, supremely logical in what they do and are absolutely non violent.

‘Leonard used a lot of his own personal qualities to play the character, he’s an intelligent man and a devout Jew. For example, the Vulcan greeting, ‘Live long and prosper’ is a Jewish sign. Leonard also invented the Vulcan pinch. Vulcan’s are supremely rational and in one of the early programmes he had to incapacitate an adversary and the script had him punching somebody out and he said no, this is not Spock. He said a Vulcan would use his intelligence.

‘He knows that the vital nerve that connects with the brain and he would pinch the nerve with his superb strength and incapacitate without breaking skin or tissue to accomplish his goal, so he used his intelligence as an actor and his faith and incorporated that in creating the character.

‘So now I want you to use something of you, your intelligence, your background, your imagination like an actor who creates an unusual character. So I want you to do that.

Joe decided to be an intergalactic pixie. George said: ‘You have that pixie quality and would probably be cast as that.’

‘My pixie he's a bit little, he's got claws and bright eyes’, Joe then sang a song about the pixie.

Next up was Martina, putting on the ears Joe said: ‘They look good on you Martina!’

‘Oh good that’s just what I wanted to hear!’

She said she came from a galaxy far away where people use their athletic ability to create peace and happiness within all because if you really use your body in ways that make yourself feel good, that help others, there will be no discord, no fighting, there will only be peace.’

Nicola was stumped what to do but George suggested she created an alien ‘Glamazon’.

‘I’m an intergalactic Glamazon and to rule the world, I do this,’ with that she lifted up her vest.

Martina then showed the basic grip for a forehand showing each of the celebrities how to hit the ball. Just as she started it started raining, ‘It’s raining, we can’t play tennis it’s Wimbledon of course,’ she said.
