The 'Only Way Is Essex' star has been voted off the ITV show after making it all the way to the final, leaving Vicky Pattison and George Shelley to fight to be King or Queen of the Jungle.

Following her exit, she said: "I can't believe it. I never thought I'd get this far. It was the best experience. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I just threw myself into the whole experience and loved it.

"And every day I thought, maybe I'm going to have a down day. Of course, you have your highs and lows. But I just really enjoyed it."

During her time in the jungle, Ferne's romance with campmate George was the subject of much talk amongst their fellow celebrities but the 25-year-old star insists they are just friends.

She told hosts Ant and Dec: "We're definitely going to meet up and stay friends. But I just think we're really really good friends and I've fallen in love with him, but in a complete different way. I just loved hanging out with him; he's just one of my besties in there."

However, Ferne couldn't make her mind up on who she wants to win the show.

When pressed to select a winner, she said: "Don't make me choose. I love them both. They're both fantastic campmates."
