The ITV hit reality show drew the curtain on another series.

Last night's final episode of TOWIE was a mixture of tears and tiaras, with dramatic entrances and sad goodbyes, the Essex clan did not disappoint on their last outing of series 11.

As the gang prepared for Jess Wright's princess and princes party, love rat James Locke attempted to win back heart-broken Danielle with a pink limousine, red roses and a trip to Mexico, how could the girl resist?!

Brother Charlie and Mr Fix-It Bobby, attempted to build bridges between Lauren and Chloe as their relationship hangs in tatters. But it seems Chloe's secret shenanigans with Mario Falcone has resulted in a sour end to the duos friendship, as Lauren refused to attend the finale party.

The episode also saw Jess move into her own apartment and Arg finally grow up and leave home too. Diags and Fran fooled around with some eyebrow plucking and Jasmine was left hanging when Dan admitted 'she not girlfriend material.'

As the princes and princesses arrive at the ball, Fran and Ferne come to blows about Ferne's negativity to Diags's beau. The heated argument left her in tears and Fran furious over comments about her love-triangle with Diags and Tom.

TOWIE fans were left heart broken as Sam Faiers- one of the Essex originals and firm favourite with the public- announced her exit from the show. Following her recent diagnosis with crohn's disease, a tearful Sam told sister Billie, Jess and Arg that she wanted time out to rekindle her romance with Mr Essex himself, Joey.

After much toing and froing a new couple is on the cards as Prince Charming Lewis scoops Grace away and the couple of the moment Diags and Fran use the 'L' word.

With Arg dressed as the Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Ricky arriving as Jess's frog-turned-prince, the fancy dress efforts of the Essex cast didn't fail to disappoint.

But Arg was left regretting his daring choice, as the show ended with the return of ex-girlfriend and Essex patron Lydia-Rose Bright. As Gemma tried to hide her tears, there was no doubting Arg's delight to see his first love again (even if he was dressed in a silk tracksuit and shades!)

Will that be the last of his frolicing with Gemma, could we see the teenage sweethearts rekindle their romance? We'll have to see. Another series of glitz and glam over, the count down begins for series 12.
