Ed Sheeran has revealed he's behind Andrea Faustini in this year's X Factor competition.
The singer said he was a huge fan of the Italian-born singer and even messaged show boss Simon Cowell to rave about the contestant.
Speaking to The Sun Ed said: "I texted Cowell about the Italian dude because I think he is fantastic."
He feels he could relate to the hopeful after his declaration of love for pug dogs in his first audition, wearing a jumper emblazoned with a photo of the dog and the caption: "I love pugs."
Ed went on: "I like his love of pugs as well that he gives no f**k and wears what he wants."
