Michelle's (Kym Ryder) biding her time before she tells Ryan (Ben Thompson) about Dean's death and orders him to stay away from Paul (Sean Gallagher) and Liam (Rob James-Collier) in the meantime. Carla (Alison King), meanwhile, is full of apologies but Michelle thanks her for being honest and reveals she is going to tell Ryan the truth. Carla, however, warns her about against telling Ryan, knowing the effect it could have on him, leaving Michelle reeling. With no one else to talk to she finally turns to Steve (Simon Gregson) explainging she needs to get away from the area. Desperate not to lose her, Steve begs her to stay and as he tells her he won't let her go, he moves in for a kiss. How will Michelle react?Over at the Barlows', Ken (William Roache) and Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride) are still struggling to connect as they continue to blame each other for what happened to Tracy. In a bid to get their marriage back on track Ken prepares a special meal, but as they try and engage in civilised conversation they soon resume their bickering. Is it the end of the road for Ken and Deirdre? At the Duckworths', Vera (Elizabeth Dawn) is already beginning to feel like a burden. But when Molly (Vicky Binns) finds Jason (Ryan Thomas) trying to get rid of Holly's things she's struck by an idea - a baby monitor. Explaining to Vera that she can use it to call for help wherever she is Vera's thrilled but Jack (William Tarmey) is less than impressed that there's suddenly no escape from his wife. And Sean (Antony Cotton) prepares Violet (Jenny Platt) for a night out on the town despite her reservations.
