Sean (Antony Cotton) sees Violet (Jenny Platt) coming out of the medical centre and when she returns he is holding the pregnancy test packet. He is ecstatic when she tells him she is pregnant and they agree to go for an early scan because of her previous history. She tells him she doesn't want to get to excited as anything could still happen but she is delighted when she has had her ultrasound and could see the baby's heartbeat. Back home Sean opens the champagne but gives Violet a lemonade, she askes him not to say anything to anyone else until the twelve weeks scan.Paul (Tom Hudson) begins his first day at the restaurant and immediately tells Leanne (Jane Danson) that the previous owner was paying over the odds for produce but he will sort it. She reassures a concerned Roger (Andrew Dunn) that things are looking up and that he will be repayed soon.Ashley (Steven Arnold) is surprised when he opens the door to Casey (Zoe Henry) who has given Claire (Julia Haworth) a lift home. They both awkwardly hug while Casey leaves them be.Sally (Sally Whittaker) is finding her studying difficult but John (Greame Hawley) offers to give her some tutoring.Jerry (Michael Starke) and Gail (Helen Worth) come up with a way to monitor the levels from the Mortons.
