Everyone seems delighted by David’s (Jack P Shepherd) transformation into a semi-normal teenager since Stephen's (Todd Boyce) arrival, except Sarah (Tina O'Brien), who’s convinced it’s all an act. When Stephen takes David out for lunch and offers him a job in his office in Milan, David's stunned and doesn’t need asking twice. He’s genuinely excited about the prospect of a new start but Gail's (Helen Worth) not sure that he's up to such a big move. However, when she finally agrees he can go and breaks the news to the rest of family at dinner Sarah’s furious and can't believe he's being given such an opportunity after all he's put them through. As everyone raises their glasses to toast David, he grins triumphantly at his sister, who won’t join in. Will she let him get away with it? After yesterday's events in the pub, Liz (Beverley Callard) is a bit more confident about the new Jim (Charles Lawson). When she spots him leaving the bookies and they exchange a bit of friendly banter, it's clear Liz is softening towards him. But Vernon (Ian Redddington) is starting to feel insecure about Jim's return. Is he right to be paranoid? When Rosie (Helen Flanagan) hears John (Graeme Hawley) is coming round for a lesson with Sally (Sally Whittaker), she decides to cancel her plans and stay in. When John arrives and sees Rosie in her dressing gown he immediately feels uncomfortable and is unnerved when she flirts with him while Sally's in the kitchen. Later, she grabs him on the way to the loo wearing only a towel and demands to see him. Despite himself, John wants Rosie and arranges to meet her tomorrow. Rosie’s getting very frustrated - will she take drastic action to get John to herself?Elsewhere, Ryan’s frustrated that he’s still under house arrest by Michelle and hopes he can still go to the gaming competition at the weekend. Will Michelle ease up?
