Paul (Tom Hudson) heads off to the police station while Dan (Matthew Crompton) and Leanne (Jane Danson) start to realise how much trouble they could be in. As Paul arrives back and tells them he's given his statement, he had nothing left to lose and the police will be contacting them, they're seriously worried. Meanwhile, Paul returns to No. 9 he confesses everything to Jack (William Tarmey), Tyrone (Alan Halsall) and Molly (Vicky Binns) who’re all disgusted. Jack is furious and angrily tells him he's a disgrace - he's done nothing but lie and cheat since he showed up. He’s bitterly disappointed and doesn’t want to hear his excuses, stating he hoped Paul would never turn into Terry. Will Jack ever forgive his grandson? Will Leanne manage to get herself out of this situation? Maria (Samia Smith) offers to drive to Carla’s (Alison King) dinner party seeing as she can't drink anyway. Liam (Rob James-Collier) offers to stay off the booze too but when they arrive and Liam explains he’s on water Maria senses his words are half hearted and tells Carla to get him a beer. As the dinner party starts to come to an end, Maria's tired and decides to leave and tells Liam he can stay for a few drinks. Carla promises to put him in a cab later, however, it’s clear Maria was merely being polite and would rather Liam came home with her. When the taxi arrives to collect him, Carla sends it away, leaving Liam fast asleep on her sofa. How will Maria feel when she finds out her husband has spent the night at Carla's?After a few drinks in the Rovers, Jason (Ryan Thomas) and Becky (Katherine Kelly) go back to the Grimshaw’s. However, Becky's hesitant and reminds him what happened last time they got together. Jason claims things will be different now but she wants to take things slowly and reckons she’d better leave. However, moments after she exits, Jason's surprised when there's a knock at the door and he finds Becky on the door step who, after having a change of heart, jumps on him. Is this the start of a new romance on the street? Elsewhere, Rita (Barbara Knox) enters the salon to see if Audrey (Sue Nicholls) has called Ted. Audrey isn’t sure what she would say but egged on by Rita she finally gets the nerve to call him and leave a message. Ted calls her back and they arrange to meet up. How will Bill and Gail feel if they discover Audrey's secret liaison? Vernon (Ian Reddington) attempts to stop Liz (Beverley Callard) from finding out about his gambling loss by diverting her attention with the offer of a cruise for three weeks - he's got a job drumming on one of the ships and has got her a ticket. Steve (Simon Gregson) doesn’t envy Liz being stuck on a boat with Vernon and its clear Liz is feeling exactly the same. How will she break it to him?
