Jane Danson thinks it is unlikely her 'Coronation Street' character's relationship with Nick Tilsley will last.
The 34-year-old actress' alter-ego Leanne Tilsley has been left devastated after finding out her husband Nick - who is played by Ben Price - cheated on her with his sister-in-law Kylie Platt (Paula Lane) last Christmas Day (25.12.12), and the blonde beauty isn't sure whether their relationship will be able to recover following his infidelity.
She told ITV.com: "Emotionally Leanne isn't getting what she needs from Nick; she's not being cuddled and the romance has evaporated, so she's craving that element of their relationship.
"She's still fairly young and she still wants to do the family thing, but the way he is it's not likely to happen, so I really don't know which way it's going to go."
Nick cheated on Leanne with Kylie on the evening of his and Leanne's wedding day last Christmas Day (25.12.12), which ended in them arguing at the altar instead of tying the knot after he discovered she had been to visit her ex-husband Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) that morning.
As a result, Leanne has ended up taking some of the blame for his and Kylie's night of passion because she feels guilty for ruining the couple's attempted wedding day.
She added: "Leanne takes a bit of the blame because obviously this wouldn't have happened if she hadn't have gone to see Peter on Christmas Day.
"It's kind of six of one and half a dozen of the other. She just gets over it, for the first time in her life!"
