Emmerdale have added another new face to their cast, this time in the form of Adam Fielding as 17-year-old Kirin.

When Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) goes for a night out in Hotten, she couldn't be happier to attract the attention of a handsome gentleman, and she's quick to take him home.

When she discovers his age however, the mood is shattered and Vanessa is left further shocked when she realises he's Rakesh's young son.

Commented Adam Fielding: “I am thrilled to be joining Emmerdale as Kirin. He’s only seventeen but he’s a cool and confident guy and isn’t going to let his age stop him where Vanessa is concerned.”

Adam makes his first appearance on August 21 and will continue as a regular character in the village.
