Charity's darker side has truly come to the forefront in recent episodes of Emmerdale.

Tonight's broadcast will see her and Declan pleased with themselves as their intense plan seems to come together, and they keep an eye on Rachel to ensure she doesn't land them in hot water.

Meanwhile, a mysterious man arrives in the village looking for directions to the Woolpack.

Spotting him arrive, Val attempts to hide and Diane tries to get rid of him, but realises he desperately wants to chat to her sister.

It's revealed that this man is in fact Ian - with whom Val had a fling with during her stay in Portugal.

Making it clear to him there will be no repeat performance, Val hopes to get rid of him once and for all, but will it really be all that easy?
