The rest of the Barton family hear Finn's news after his discovery of his real mother, but he doesn't get the reaction he had hoped for and Pete especially reacts badly, giving his brother an ultimatum. Cain does some research into his continuing headaches making his health fears increase, whilst Katie sneaks a look at Robert's phone, convinced her brother-in-law is cheating on Chrissie.
Tuesday, January 6, 2015 (7pm, ITV)
Voicing her concerns about Cain to Charity, Moira wonders just what could be going on with her husband. Later on in the evening whilst alone in the garage, Cain collapses after a sharp pain in his head, but gets up just as Charity arrives, quickly regaining consciousness. Elsewhere, Pete realises he's wasting his time when he goes to Victoria for help in getting through to Finn.
Wednesday, January 7, 2015 (7pm, ITV)
Cain explains his symptoms to Charity leaving her panicking, and she insists that he immediately goes to the accident and emergency. Receiving worrying news about his health, he decides to keep what he knows to himself. Katie threatens to expose Robert's affair with the mysterious 'A' and Debbie realises that Finn is still troubled following his reunion with his mother.
Thursday, January 8, 2015 (7pm, 8pm, ITV)
In tonight's double episode, Cain threatens to kick Charity out of the house after confiding in her about his condition. Spoiling for a fight later in the night at the Woolpack, she's forced to intervene and threatens to let everybody know what's happened if he doesn't calm down. Chas suspects that the pair are keeping a secret, whilst Robert is keen to use Katie's suspicions of he and Alicia having an affair to his advantage.
Chas' suspicions are fuelled by Debbie and she warns Cain to steer keen of Charity, worried the two could have rekindled their relationship. Robert offers to take Lachlan to football training leaving his future wife Chrissie grateful, blissfully unaware he has an ulterior motive. Whilst there he charms Alicia and offers her money for the team, arranging to discuss things further and delighted that things are looking up.
Friday, January 9, 2015 (7pm, ITV)
A shocked Moira hears of Cain's diagnosis from Charity and explains how he urgently needs an operation. Meanwhile, Cain becomes disoriented once more and falls unconscious into a river. Robert publicly humiliates Katie whilst Chrissie is wrapped around Lachlan's finger, and Adam does his best to impress Victoria.
