There are two new heartthrobs hitting the Hollyoaks village in the form of Damon Kinsella and Brody Hudson, played by Jacob Roberts and Adam Woodward respectively. Best mates on screen, they’re returning to the UK from Ibiza with a dangerous secret that could affect the lives of a set of already-established characters in the village.
Damon meanwhile also has his own history and connection with a village resident that becomes clear as soon as he arrives, but whether or not he’ll be welcomed with open arms or immediately told to leave remains to be seen.
While Damon is looking for Mrs. Right, he’ll always choose his best mate over a girl. On the other hand, Brody is devoted to his friend and his job, enjoying life as a ladies’ man and showing no signs of wanting to settle down, enjoying nights out rather than in.
Friends since the age of 10, the two have been inseparable and went on the ultimate lad’s holiday as soon as they turned 18. Living it up abroad, they’re now bringing some drama back to UK shores…
Chatting about his role as Damon, Jacob Roberts said: “I am really excited to be part of the cast of Hollyoaks. I really enjoy playing the role of Damon and I am looking forward to the fans discovering who he really is and who he is connected to in the village.”
Actor Adam Woodward adds: “I’m so chuffed to be joining the cast of Hollyoaks and filming my first scenes in Ibiza! Brody is a brilliant character to play and I can’t wait to see what the fans think of him.”
Hollyoaks continues weekdays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with First Look episodes Monday-Friday at 7pm on E4.
