After a fight with Belle about Peter, she returns home to find it has been broken into and her share portfolio stolen. While Peter rings the police, Amanda gets more distressing news – Belle has been kidnapped! As she’s trying to process this new information, she is astonished to find her sister Kelli at the door. Her arrival turns out to be a blessing, as she helps the police to track Belle down – but only because she set the whole thing up. But why? “She ruined my life many years ago,” she says. “And now I’m going to ruin hers.” What else does she have planned? Amanda’s not the only person having family related traumas this week. Despite having found out that her new boyfriend, Ash, is married and has a family, Martha has decided that she’s going to keep seeing him. Morag and Alf are far from happy about the situation, which upsets Martha –why can’t her family support her in this? Alf counsels Morag to let it go, but she can’t do it and decides to ask Tony to have a word with Martha, which he reluctantly does. Alf hits the roof when he finds out about Morag’s meddling, and Martha is not impressed either. Furious, she tells Morag to stay out of her life and leaves her in tears. With everyone against her, Martha eventually decides that there is no point staying in the Bay. Is this a goodbye? Sally, meanwhile, is finding strength in her relationship. She has made some remarkable progress in her recovery, both from Flynn’s death and her own recent attack, and Brad is stunned when he finds out that she is no longer wearing her wedding ring. He is amazed that she seems to be moving on, but he is not sure that he’s ready to do the same. Sally understands, and tells him not to rush anything – they are back on track. Also this week, Sally’s homecoming is tainted by Martha’s big announcement. Kim struggles to balance his duties as a new husband and fatherto- be, pushing Rachel to breaking point. Cracks are starting to show in Cassie and Macca’s relationship. Belle admits where her heart lies.
