Rebecca is devastated by Pauls confession. Feeling totally undeserving of her love, and convinced she doesnt need another violent man in her life, Paul drives her away. Though urged by their dismayed families to heal the rift, they refuse. Rebecca vows to move on with her life, proposing to Rosie and Toadie that they hire her as their receptionist/office assistant.
