Annoyed by their daughters apparent disregard for their rules, Steve leaves a bitter message on Bridgets phone. Blaming Declan for Bridgets behaviour, Steve confronts him. The conflict between the Parkers and the Napiers escalates with Steve accusing Declan of being a thug and demanding Rebecca control her wayward son. Declan is mortified by the public berating and Nick seizes the opportunity to befriend Declan for his own gain. Lauras shocked when Nick unveils his plan to kidnap Declan and force big brother Oliver to come up with the ransom Distressed Mickey discovers Bridget on the side of the road and sees Declans car drive from the scene.
