There's a new face in Emmerdale who goes by the name of Rakesh Kotecha (Pasha Bocarie) and he's looking to steal the heart of one of the residents in the village.

Unlucky-in-love Priya (Fiona Wade) is met by her potential suitor but when Jai (Chris Bisson) learns that his old business rival now has a chance of becoming his brother-in-law, Priya's wedding dreams turn cold.

David (Matthew Wolfenden) will begin to discover that Rakesh may not be all he seems, but just how far will he be willing to go to protect the woman he used to love?

Pasha will be on-screen from mid-July.
