Kicking off the partnership on Saturday July 4, Domino's will deliver over 600 slices of freshly made pizza to young people at Teenage Cancer Trust's 'Find Your Sense of Tumour' conference, the only conference available for 13-17 year olds with cancer.

On the same day, young cancer patients will be sharing their #cheesygrin selfies on Twitter and Facebook, and for every #cheesygrin selfie shared, £1 will be donated by Domino's (with donations capped at £5,000).

The help of Hollyoaks cast members will come in the form of them sharing their #cheesygrin selfies across social media channels on Saturday, encouraging the public to also get involved, sharing their own pictures and including the hashtags along with the @Dominos_UK and @TeenageCancer Twitter handles.

CEO of Domino's Pizza UK David Wild commented: "Voted for by Domino's Pizza Group employees and franchisees, the two-year partnership aims to raise £1 million which will go towards the vital work Teenage Cancer Trust do to help young people with cancer in the UK.

"If we reach our target of £1 million, we will be able to help fund life changing services right across the country; for example, our £1 million could fund 40,000 hours of expert nursing care for young people with cancer.

"I hope that over the course of our partnership, we can work towards the goal of reaching every young person in the UK touched by this illness."

Chief Executive at Teenage Cancer Trust, Siobhan Dunn added: "Teenage Cancer Trust's specialist nurses and youth support coordinators make a huge difference to the experience of young people with cancer in hospital. Despite all the hard work and progress we have made in supporting young people, we still have a long way to go. For every young person with cancer we help, there is another we can't.

"Domino's will be helping us reach these young people. We feel very lucky to have been chosen by Domino's and look forward to working together over the next two years."

Various activities including employee and customer fundraising will be taking place over the next two years, with awareness also being raised in regards to the valuable work Teenage Cancer Trust does in supporting suffering teens and young adults across the UK.
