Steve Backshall is one of the UK's most prolific explorers, and has now teamed up with the Brave Bones Club to create a five-part online video series of adventures to encourage youngsters in the country to embark on their own thrilling adventures this summer.

Now with just a week or two to go until the end of the summer holidays, many parents are suffering from a lack of inspiration when it comes to entertaining their kids, and so the videos aim to show them some great ways to have next-to-nothing action-packed days.
With the help of six thrill-seeking explorers, children aged between 8 and 11 were invited to enter a special competition and star in the series along with Backshall - the first three episodes of which you can check out below.
