In today's celebrity edition of Jeremy Kyle, Tara Palmer Tomkinson opened up about her cocaine addiction to the show's host.

Battling tears Tara gave details on her darkest moment: “I remember timing my heart because I knew it was going to stop and I remember my telephone was [a few metres away] ... I remember crawling on my hands and knees to pick up the phone and call … and then I woke up in hospital.”

After spending time in rehab two years ago for private reasons, she opens up and says she was "so frightened of this British Press, of these Paparazzi who went through my rubbish, who led me to believe that every chimney sound or thunderstorm was a paparazzi attack" before admitting she still can't deal with their presence.

Now she says she is a recluse who has only been out in the evenings three times in the past year, but her family are what drive her through everything.

“My family are my salvation, they still are. People think that my family’s not dysfunctional, I used to jump over the dining room table on my pony!”

Tito Jackson will feature in tomorrow's episode of Jeremy Kyle: The Celebrity Specials at 9.25am on ITV.
