Gosh! Sweetcorn and Quinoa Bites are ideal for anyone who likes Indian snacks with their curry. These taste just like little Indian Bhajis or samosas that you would eat alongside your rice, curry, a naan bread and dips.

They aren't as spicy but they are packed full of flavour and are great for sharing.

I had them for Sunday lunch while my partner tucked into some chicken- they tasted lovely with heaps of steamed vegetables. The bites are a little crumbly so they may not retain their shape after cooking them- but it just makes them last longer. They are very filling too so if you're not used to large portions you might want to save half the pack for the next day.

They only take around 10 minutes in the oven, so they were really quick to prepare if you are light on time.

One of the things I like most about this product is that it's got no allergens in it and it's just made with food you recognise on the packaging which is reassuring. As a vegan who's allergic to soya it can be difficult to find products that don't contain soya as most of the meat substitutes are made from this ingredient.

The best part about them for me is that a whole packet is only 4 syns on Slimming World so you can eat a whole bunch of them and not feel too guilty.

At just under 10 grams of protein for the whole portion- it provides a respectable amount for your evening meal. If you are splitting it you would just need to consider having it with something with a similar amount of protein in it.

Overall, I was really impressed with the bites. I do struggle to find high protein accompaniments to my veggies on a Sunday so these are perfect. But I think I will try them with my favourite chickpea curry next time.
