In February, PETA and Animal Place sanctuary had a Super Bowl party for hens. All 85 of the hens were rescued from slaughter.

About 600 million chickens are killed for their wings every Super Bowl. At this party, however, the chickens were the guests of honour.
They all waited for their pre-approved adoptive families to come and get them while PETA staff, friends, and celebrities enjoyed some conversation and vegan snacks.
You can still enjoy buffalo wings- just veganised ones instead of the real thing!
