With only a handfull of hits to her name. This Bollywood babe has been out the limelight for 3 years now. But it looks like she is all set to relaunch her career this year. Not just as a actress but also as a producer.
The Ameesha Patel Productions, which launched in April is gearing up to release the movie, 'Chatur Singh Two Star.' Ameesha is not only producing this movie but is also the lead actress. With actor Sanjay Dutt as her leading man. Comedy king, Anumpam Kher also has a main role in the movie.
Producing your own movies seems like a ongoing trend in Bollywood, but will it work for Ameesha? She has proved popular a few occasions in movies, but when you compare her to the likes of, Katrina Kaif, Lara Dutta and Kareena Kapoor it is clear that Ameesha is not in the same talent pool. Will she be able to prove herself once and for all?
The film is out on the 19th August 2011.
