Aishwarya Rai pregnant with first baby

Aishwarya Rai is pregnant with her first child.

The Indian beauty who was once considered to be the most beautiful woman in the world, is expecting later in the year.

The former Miss World married Bollywood hunk Abhishek Bachchan, sun of Indian film legend Amitabh Bachchan broke the news on his Twitter on Tuesday.

He wrote: "I am going to become a grandfather! Aishwarya is expecting! So happy and thrilled!"

Rai and Bachchan married in 2007.
