Denis Leary is heading for a clash with environmental campaigners, after revealing his life's goal is to leave the "biggest carbon footprint" ever.

The Rescue Me star claims he needs to drive gas guzzling trucks on his farm in Massachusetts - and he doesn't care what impact they have on the environment,

Leary tells Starpulse.com, "My goal is to leave this planet with the biggest carbon footprint I can possibly leave. First of all, I have to have trucks because I live most of my time on a horse farm, so I've gotta have trucks.

"It's in the northeast, I've got to have pickup trucks to move snow, number one. Number two, just if I'm driving, I don't have to have an SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) but I want a big car.

"That's why I love America. That's why I think we should save the auto industry. I don't care.

"I honestly don't care if my grandchildren can breathe or not. I am a guy, my comfort. I want to be comfortable where I'm driving and where I'm sitting. I want bigger stuff."
