Michael Lohan, Lindsay Lohan's father, is facing charges over allegations he made a threatening phone call to his on/off fiancee Erin Muller.
Lohan was reportedly arrested last month (Apr09) amid claims he threatened to kill model Muller when she tried to end their relationship in March (09).
According to New York Post gossip column PageSix, he appeared at a court in Central Islip, Long Island on Tuesday (26May09) - but fled when he was recognized by members of the media.
No further details on the case were available as FemaleFirst went to press.
Lohan is also due at another court hearing in Westbury, New York on Wednesday (27May09) - over claims he has fallen behind with child support payments.
