Claudia Winkleman knows of the stress that women come under

Claudia Winkleman knows only to well of the stress of trying to get everything done. We all have those days when we feel like we could implode with the amount of jobs that need to be done.

So, why don't you just take ten minutes with Twinings?

New research indicates that women are juggling an average of 6.2 jobs daily, whilst men only have 4.7. It's no wonder that 97 per cent of females are feeling frazzled.

TV personality Claudia, says: "As a working mum of three, I know how difficult it can be to juggle everything and remember to take time for yourself.

"Take 10 with Twinings is not about fitting in hours in a spa or booking expensive holidays into a busy schedule in order to feel content and refreshed, but finding an achievable 10 quality minutes daily to focus on ourselves to feel happier, content and reconnected."

Women rank being a friend, cook, housekeeper and mother among the most common roles they play in life, with 67 per cent always putting the needs of others before their own.

When you consider everything that women do it's not surprising that more than one in ten feel 'so stressed out they can't remember what it feels like to be calm or content' and 46 per cent admit to 'becoming someone they don't want to be' when stressed.

"Just ten minutes of relaxtions or partaking in an enjoyable activity is essential for keeping a healthy balance of the hormones associated with happiness levels," says chartered psychologist, Nancy Beesley.

She continues: "Cortisol is created by the bosy to mobilise energy and our fight or flight response and if we have too much of this by not slowing down and taking time out to relax, it keeps the body and mind on constant alert, limiting the release of the feel-good hormone Serotonin, as well as reducing our immune function.

"Our bodies are functioned for activity and recovery and without even the smallest amount of down time, can lead to chronic stress responses."

The survey marks the launch of Twnings' 'Get you back to you' campaign, which urges women to take just 10 minutes daily in order to reconnect with themselves.
