Kate Middleton

Catherine Elizabeth Middleton was born in Newbury Berkshire in 1982. She grew up in Chapel Row and studied Art History at the University of St Andrews, where she met her soon to be husband Prince William. They secretly dated each other for many years and remained almost invisible to the public eye for quite some time before announcing their engagement in 2010. Shortly before the wedding the queen conferred Kate with the title Catherine, her royal highness the Duchess of Cambridge. She married Prince William in West Minster Abbey in 2011 and they are expecting their first child in July 2013. Kate has become prominent for her fashion style and has been placed on numerous best dressed lists and she also made it on the annual most influential people in the world list this year.
