Incoco Dry Nail Polish

Incoco Dry Nail Polish

Dry nail polish? Sounds strange. We thought we better get the Female First Beauty Testers to check this one out.......

Incoco Dry Nail Applique is stick on nail polish that claims to be a "five-minute manicure that lasts up to two-weeks and won¹t chip or smudge". Lets see what our testers thought.

The idea of this product is that instead of painting various layers of nail polish you just stick these coloured strips onto your nails which are made up of base coat, colour and top coat.

At first the process seems a bit fiddly- you have to find the strip that is the right size for each nail, peel off the top film layer, break off a tab and then peel it away from the back paper before you stick it onto your nail. And if you get any of these steps out of order the strip is more or less wasted.

However once we got the hang of it the result was pretty good. You need to spend a bit of time tidying up the excess strip off ends and sides of your nails but the finish looks like an expert manicure.

As for how long it lasts- it's been two days since we applied Incoco and we have no chips to report- even after a long day cleaning and looking after the kids.

We do think that dry nail polish is a lot more fiddly than using just normal 'wet' nail varnish but the results are definitely more professional.
