A good powder is key to the longevity of any make up look and an essential for any beauty kit. However, frequent use means it never last very long so who wants to spend a fortune on designer brands.
Lacura Powder Compact is a bargain £2.49 and comes in a range of shades including transparent. The compact is a neat silver rounded shape with a handy mirror and applicator pad inside- not bad for the price.
It's all very well being cheap- but does it work? Well, yes, actually it does. The powder glides on really smoothly and quickly and easily masks any shiny foundation.
The coverage is also fab. In just a minute we were left with a really smooth flawless look that lasted all day.
The only problem we found is that the powder block is a bit hard and requires a good rub to get the contents onto the applicator- but the credit crunch friendly price more than makes up for this.
Supermaket make up is definitely the way forward for cutting the cost of beauty!
