What's Your Number

What's Your Number

As you may expect romance movies have been hugely successful at the box office so far this year and Anna Faris and Chris Evans are the latest to pair together for their new comedy What's Your Number.

And to celebrate the release of the movie we take a look at some of the best comedy couple that have graced the big screen so far this year.

- Natalie Portman & Ashton Kutcher: No Strings Attached

The beginning of 2011 saw Oscar winner Natalie Portman team up with the rather lovely Ashton Kutcher in the Ivan Reitman movie.

A guy and girl try to keep their relationship strictly physical, but it's not long before they learn that they want something more.

These two are a really sexy pair with a lot of on screen chemistry - and it's this chemistry that really does push this movie forward.

- Ryan Gosling & Emma Stone: Crazy, Stupid, Love

More recently Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone joined the all star cast of Crazy, Stupid, Love - with Gosling tackling the rom-com for the very first time.

In a movie about relationships the one between Jacob and Hannah is by far the most entertaining; the Dirty Dancing scene being just perfect!

Gosling and Stone really do sizzle together as womaniser Jacob meets his match with Hannah while Hannah throws caution to the wind to take a chance on Jacob.

- Anne Hathaway & Jim Sturgess: One Day

Anne Hathaway had to tackle the Yorkshire accent as she took on the role of Emma in a big screen adaptation of the much loved novel One Day.

The movie saw her team up with Brit actor Jim Sturgess in the Lone Scherfig directed movie.

Hathaway and Sturgess complement each other beautifully as polar opposites Emma & Dexter, who after spending the night together on the night of their college graduation Dexter and Em are shown each year on the same date to see where they are in their lives.

- Mila Kunis & Justin Timberlake: Friends With Benefits

Justin Timberlake's acting career goes from strength to strength in the last twelve months or so and he showed that he could also tackle the rom-com as he teamed up with Mila Kunis for Friends With Benefits.

While trying to avoid the clichés of Hollywood romantic comedies, Dylan and Jamie soon discover however that adding the act of sex to their friendship does lead to complications.

The pair have great chemistry on scene and they look like they are just having the best fun in the movie - which makes the film a genuinely funny watch.

- Russell Brand & Greta Gerwig: Arthur

Earlier this year Russell Brand took over the role of Arthur from Dudley Moore in a remake of the much loved eighties movies - well I say remake more a movie influenced by the original.

Despite being engaged Susan, played brilliantly by Jennifer Garner, Arthur finds himself falling in love with Naomi - played by Great Gerwig.

This is a very sweet romance between the pair in what is a fun movie.

- Anna Faris & Chris Evans: What's Your Number?

Anna Faris plays Ally in this edgy romantic comedy about a woman who reads a magazine article claiming that 'women who have had 20 or more partners in their lifetime have a good chance of staying single for life.'

After counting the men in her own life, Ally begins to lose hope of every getting married.

Vowing not to exceed her current number, she enlists the help of her handsome neighbour (Chris Evans) and becomes obsessed with tracking down her old boyfriends to see if she may have missed 'the one.'

What's Your Number? Is released 30th September.
