Lily Collins has revealed that she auditioned for Snow White and the Huntsman - a role which has gone to Kristen Stewart.
Collins may have missed out on that role but she will get to play Snow White after all as she is set to take on the role in Mirror Mirror.
The film, which is directed by Tarsem Singh, sees Collins team up with Oscar winner Julia Roberts as she takes on the role of the evil Queen.
Speaking to Access Hollywood the actress said: "I did read the other Snow White script. I auditioned for it, but I've been so excited for Kristen.
"I think that story is so different than ours and the girls are so different.
"She's perfect for her version, and I'm really excited to be doing this one and I think they have totally different audiences."
Collins has enjoyed box office success this year with Abduction and she has The English Teacher in the pipeline.
Mirror Mirror is released 16th March
