Colin Farrell is set to star alongside Rachel Weisz in The Lobster.
The Lobster is the first English speaking film for director Yorgos Lanthimos, and will see Farrell and Weisz take on the lead roles, according to Variety.com.
Ben Whishaw, Lea Seydoux and Olivia Colman are all also on the cast list alongside Farrell and Weisz.
Lanthimos will produce the film alongside Ed Guiney, Lee Magiday and Ceci Dempsey, with Andrew Lowe as executive producer.
Speaking his fantastic cast list, the director said: "I'm very grateful to have the opportunity to work with such great actors.
"Their contribution to our film will enrich and expand the world we are trying to create and explore. Furthermore our team of old and new collaborators makes me very confident and excited to start making this film."
The sci-fi film which is an unconventional love story set in a dystopian future has been co-written by Lanthimos and Efthimis Filippou.
Farrell will be returning to the big screen this month with A New York Winter's Tale. He has also completed work on Miss Julie and Solace.
Filming on The Lobster is set to get underway next month.
