We have seen quite a few of Nicholas Sparks' novels adapted for the big screen over the years... and The Choice is the next one to watch out for.

The Choice

The Choice

The Choice is an adaptation of Sparks' 2007 novel of the same name and has been adapted for the big screen by Bryan Sipe, while Ross Katz is in the director's chair.

Benjamin Walker and Teresa Palmer are set to take on the central roles of Travis Parker and Gabby Holland in the film, and you can see them in action in the brand new trailer and poster:

A terrific cast has been assembled for the cast as Walker and Palmer are joined by Maggie Grace, Alexandra Daddario, Tom Welling, Brett Rice, and Tom Wilkinson.

When feisty medical student Gabby Holland (Palmer) moves in next door to perennial ladies' man Travis Shaw (Walker), it sends them both on a romantic journey neither ever dreamed possible. Travis has always believed a serious relationship with a woman would cramp his easy-going lifestyle, while Gabby is all set to settle down her long-term boyfriend - until an irresistible attraction between the unlikely couple upends both of their well-planned lives.

After a whirlwind courtship, Gabby and Travis wed and build a family together, making every decision hand-in-hand until one of them is forced to make the most important choice of their life alone. A poignant and life-affirming celebration of love, marriage and family that explores the most heart-wrenching question of all: how far would you go to keep the hope of love alive?

We have seen The Notebook, Dear John, The Lucky One, and Safe Haven all get the big screen treatment and do well at the box office. If you are a Nicholas Sparks film fan, then The Choice is set to be a Spring movie that is not to be missed.

The Choice is released Spring 2016.
