Following the release of the spooky first poster for upcoming thriller The Snowman, based on the global best-selling book of the same name by Jo Nesbø, comes the release of the first trailer for the film, which you can now check out below:
Michael Fassbender tops the bill as an elite crime squad’s lead detective, who sets out to investigate a mysterious disappearance on the first snow of winter. When he begins to connect the dots however, it quickly becomes clear that an elusive serial killer could be at work once more.
With the help of a new but brilliant recruit (Rebecca Ferguson), the two must work together if they’re to figure out the puzzles of the brutal crimes that have taken place both in the modern day and in recent history.
In doing so, they may be able to outwit the evil mastermind behind the disappearances, but will they be able to do so before the next snowfall?
Charlotte Gainsbourg, Val Kilmer, Toby Jones, J.K. Simmons, Charlotte Gainsburg, Chloë Sevigny and Sofia Helin all also star in the thriller, with Tomas Alfredson serving as director.
The Snowman hits cinemas across the UK on October 13, 2017.
