Madden Shocked By Bride's Surprise

Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden was shocked when he found out his wife, Nicole Richie arranged for an Elephant to be at the wedding.

Madden and Richie tied the knot at Lionel Richie’s estate in Beverley Hills last weekend.

Gwen Stefani and Ashlee Simpson were present at the ceremony.

The singer tells People.com: “I was like, 'What?' Then I just laughed - Nicole getting an elephant and not telling me is typical of our relationship."
But he was more than happy for Richie to indulge in her love of animals for their wedding: "If there's one time I want her to have the craziest thing she wants, it's the day we marry.
