The Duchess of Cambridge has revealed she's due to give birth in "mid-April".

The 33-year-old royal is pregnant with her and Prince William's second child and she has ended speculation she could deliver the tot this month revealing her predicted delivery date to a member of the public during a charity engagement.

Catherine - who already has 19-month-old son Prince George with William - visited Brookhill Children's Centre in Woolwich, south east London, on Wednesday (18.03.15) which is run by the charity Home-Start.

Whilst there she met mothers who use the centre and volunteers who work for the organisation, including 49-year-old Christie Osbourne who she let slip in the due date to.

Recalling their meeting, Ms. Osbourne said: "I told her she is beautiful and that she's got a tiny little bump. I asked when her baby is due and she said mid-to-end of April."

During the visit, the duchess - also known as Kate Middleton - enjoyed a coffee morning with other mums and learnt about the work the charity does with families and youngsters dealing with issues such as mental health, bereavement, multiple births and disability. She also saw children using the Together for Twos' crèche.

Kate was also given a array of gifts for son George by well-wishers including

an Elmer the Patchwork Elephant book, a potty training book and a colour-sorting clock.

After getting the potty training book, the royal said: "We will certainly be needing that!"
