The 25-year-old reality TV star sensationally quit the boozy programme, which catapulted her into the limelight five years ago, earlier this week following her heartbreaking ectopic pregnancy revelation but bosses have assured fans it's not the end of the road for the blonde beauty just yet.

A source told The Sun Online: "'Geordie Shore' is like a family to Charlotte. She's one of the original cast members - the show helped her make her fortune. We know Charlotte has hinted at leaving but viewers can expect to see her for guest appearances and special occasions."

Following Charlotte's shocking outburst online, bosses reportedly held a "crisis talk" to discuss the future of the show as many people believe it'll crash and burn without her on screen wreaking havoc in Newcastle.

However, it seems Charlotte may have had second thoughts about quitting the show shortly afterwards.

She tweeted: "I am hugely sad and it kills me to write this, I will miss Geordie shore with all of my heart, it was my life and I [heart emoji] you all so much ...

"... I'm embarrassed about having that ridiculous outburst, I still stand by my decision. But I shouldn't of let my temper get the better of me. (sic)."

Charlotte broke hearts across the country on Wednesday (01.06.16) when she announced she was leaving the programme in order to get away from her on/off boyfriend and co-star Gary 'Gaz' Beadle after they locked horns over her decision to reveal her ectopic pregnancy.

The outspoken star, who was carrying Gaz' baby, broke down in tears earlier this week when she revealed she almost died after the pregnancy, which is when a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the womb, had ripped open her fallopian tube.

Charlotte underwent surgery to remove the ruptured tube and has been told she may have difficulty - although it's not impossible - to fall pregnant for a while.
