Kym Marsh thinks acts of kindness "go such a long way" amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The former 'Coronation Street' star is currently recovering from a hernia operation, and she's appreciated the support she's received since going under the knife.
Kym, 44 - who co-hosts 'Morning Live' on the BBC - shared: "My recovery from my hernia operation is still going slowly. My doctors thought I had a bit of an infection so they gave me antibiotics. I'm just taking time but I'm trying to be patient.
"I can move around a bit more and I'm able to walk better, but I wasn't allowed to go to London to the 'Morning Live' studio last week.
"The BBC have been amazing about it but it's very frustrating. But my health has to come first. So I'm trying to stay positive and keep going."
Despite her frustrations, the actress - who played Michelle Connor in the ITV soap - has received loads of supportive messages over recent days.
And Kym is especially appreciative of the kind messages during the pandemic.
She wrote in her OK! magazine column: "I've been inundated with flowers and lovely messages from my friends this week, which has really cheered me up. It's so important to remember to reach out to others while we're all stuck at home.
"From funny videos in WhatsApp groups to pictures of my grandson, the little things have really helped to keep me smiling and I'm so grateful to everyone for keeping my spirits up.
"So if there is someone in your life who you think could use cheering up at the moment, try to drop them a message just to check in. Kindness goes such a long way."
