Ryan Thomas has joked he's "still in trouble" with Lucy Mecklenburgh after he bought a house without telling her.

The former soap star has revealed that he still has some making up to do after purchasing a new family home in Cheshire.
Ryan, 36 - who has a 12-month-old baby boy called Roman with the brunette beauty - told 'Lorraine': "I'm still in trouble today. We're not even in the house yet, it's a building site. I can't see light at the end of the tunnel.
"Eventually it'll be OK, but right now, everyone knows moving house is hard work, I've taken on more than I can chew with the house, but eventually we'll be happy."
Despite his recent acquisition, Ryan previously admitted he'd love to live abroad one day
The actor revealed he'd like to live in a warmer part of the world, like California.
Ryan - who also has Scarlett, 12, with actress Tina O'Brien - said on his 'Mancs on the Mic' podcast: "What it comes down to is the weather. The weather changes everything, if it's not nice weather you stay indoors.
"In California the weather is good all year round so what do people do? They spend their time outside. Playing basketball, on the beach, going for runs. I feel like that is a happy life when you have the good weather. It keeps people motivated ...
"The only thing that stops that happening is Scarlett. She lives in two homes. I would like her to have a base, where she can feel it is her other home.
"Otherwise for six months of the year I could live abroad and work from home."
