Today (January 11th, 2022), Apple TV+ has revealed the trailer for highly-anticipated thriller series, Suspicion, which will premiere on the streaming service in February this year (2022).

Suspicion is set to be a thrilling eight-episode series, starring Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill actress Uma Thurman, and will debut only on Apple TV+ at the start of next month (February, 2022); the first two episodes will be available immediately, with the rest of the season releasing every Friday.

When the son of a distinguished American businesswoman (Thurman) is taken from a hotel in New York City (NYC), the eye of suspicion falls fast on four seemingly ordinary British citizens who were all at the hotel the night the boy was abducted.

Each suspect quickly finds themselves in a trans-Atlantic can and mouse chase in order to escape the forces of both the National Crime Agency (NCA) and the FBI, all to prove their innocence; however, it becomes increasingly obvious that not everyone can be trusted...

Who is really behind the mysterious kidnapping, and who is lying about being in the wrong place at the wrong time?

As well as Thurman, the cast for Suspicion includes Kunal Nayyar (The Big Bang Theory), Noah Emmerich (The Americans), Georgina Campbell (Black Mirror), Elizabeth Henstridge (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), with Tom Rhys-Harries (White Lines), Elyes Gabel (Scorpion) and Angel Coulby (Dancing on the Edge).

With BAFTA Award nominee Rob Williams (Man in the High Castle) serving as showrunner and executive producer, Suspicion is based on the award-winning Israeli series False Flag, and is produced out of the UK by Keshet Productions, Keshet International’s UK production arm.

Alongside Williams, executive producers include Emmy Award nominee Chris Long (The Americans), who also directs, Howard Burch for Keshet Productions, Avi Nir for Keshet Media Group and Anna Winger. The series is produced by Darin McLeod (Watchmen).

Thriller series are always in high demand, and Apple TV+ seems to be giving fans what they want; for example, late last year (2021) the service saw the release of Invasionwhich combined emotion and intrigue beautifully.

Suspicion will debut on Apple TV+ on February 4th, 2022.
