The three siblings had been set to compete against each other - each on a rival team - on ITV's Olympics-style show, but the impact of the coronavirus pandemic could mean they pull out of the competition.

A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre TV column: "Scott, Ryan and Adam were so looking forward to it. The plan was they’d all be in different teams competing against one another.

“But now it’s just single events, it’s unlikely all three will take part. As it stands, they’re not going to. But it’s hoped one will stay on board."

The programme - which is due to be hosted by Holly Willoughby, Freddie Flintoff and Alex Scott - has already been pushed back to next year due the pandemic, and the news came just weeks after it was announced the Tokyo 2020 Olympics were halted until 2021.

In April, an insider said: "The ongoing pandemic has been a nightmare for TV shows and schedulers and moving 'The Real 2020 Games' was no exception."

The new show will see a host of famous faces tackle various Olympic events, with the javelin and shot put among the   challenges.

Fortunately, the presenting trio renewed their contracts for the following year.

The source added: "Holly and Freddie's contracts have been redrawn, along with their co-star Alex Scott's, and it took some planning.

"These three are key to the show's success, as they are such big names and were a perfect fit for hosting the 'Games'.

"So the team making the show went all out to secure them again in 2021.

"Their schedules are all very busy and since a lot of shows are being delayed until next year, it took a lot of effort to get all the ducks in a row."
