Roy hears the news he's been dreading from his wife in tonight's episode of Coronation Street, when she decides that she'd like this day to be her last, and asks him to arrange a meeting with Fiz, Tyrone and the rest of the family.

As they all happily reminisce about their past and memories, they're all completely oblivious to the fact that Hayley has intentions to end her own life, and so she enjoys the final moments with her friends and relatives.

Later on she irons Roy's best shirt, requesting that he wear it to her funeral which leads to him begging his wife to reconsider, but she's completely sure that now is her time to go.

She creates a cocktail of drugs as Roy watches helplessly, and as she prepares to overdose, she tells Roy he must not touch the glass or have any part in her death.

Downstairs, Anna sits alone in the dark after shutting the cafe, knowing something isn't right.

Meanwhile, Nick tries to persuade Leanne to get back in touch with her mother Stella and make things up, while Chesney invites Sinead to move in to him, much to her delight.

Dennis and Gloria discuss concert plans for a second live gig, and Tim tries to get Sophie to agree to asking Maddie about the missing gold watch which was in the handbag that was stolen at the soup kitchen.
