Carla (Alison King) is set to leave Coronation Street in upcoming episodes and with her departure, she'll be handing the reigns of company Underworld over to Aidan and Johnny Connor (Shayne Ward and Richard Hawley), but with Aidan's sights set firmly on Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley), could Corrie's latest power couple be set to take over?

They're not the only ones with romance in the air, as Aidan's father and business partner Johnny is looking to get a little closer to worker Jenny Bradley (Sally Ann Matthews), but her troubled past could bring more drama to the factory than ever before.

With Carla stepping out of the factory, Alya (Sair Khan) sees herself taking over, but the Connor family threaten to stop her from making that leap into the role.

Many workers at the factory are hiding big secrets and, with Carla's wedding to Nick (Ben Price) drawing closer everybody's painting a smile on their faces - but in the land of soap we all know skeletons don't remain in closets for very long.

Tracy (Kate Ford) continues to blackmail Carla, using her knowledge of her one night stand with Robert (Tristan Gemmill) to gain the upper hand. Though Carla's trying to focus on her big day, moving to Devon and being happy, everything could crumble around her within a matter of seconds.

Kate (Faye Brooks) was looking set to marry fiancée Caz (Rhea Bailey), but when she stole a kiss with her close friend Sophie (Brooke Vincent) she's been left wondering what life could be like if things had turned out a little differently. Sophie has made her feelings clear, so Kate has a big choice to make moving forward.

Elsewhere, Izzy (Cherylee Houston) continues on her dangerous path using cannabis to relieve her of her pain, but when the law catches up with her, her future at Underworld may be in danger.

Enjoying his life since vicar Billy (Dan Brocklebank) came back into it, Sean (Antony Cotton) could see his relationship threatened when an old face from Billy's past turns up on the cobbles.

Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) continues to struggle to hold her family together with her finances and so returns to work, but debts are piling up at home, threatening to tear her relationship with Tyrone (Alan Halsall) apart.

Sinead (Katie McGlynn) is enjoying life as a model at Underworld, with her career going from strength to strength now Auntie Beth (Lisa George) is by her side, but growing jealousy from Chesney (Sam Aston) threatens to ruin her good times.

Now on the Weatherfield council, Sally (Sally Dynevor) will be getting more snobbier than ever and so could be left detached from the rest of her colleagues. It's not just her friendships with them in peril however, as further pressure is placed on her marriage with Tim (Joe Duttine).

There are going to be a few dramatic upcoming months at Underworld this spring.

Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV.
