Kym Marsh has admitted that her character Michelle Connor will be "heavily involved" in the forthcoming Coronation Street bus crash.
The actress says that the shocking storyline's details are being kept underwraps, but is delighted she'll be in the thick of the action.
Speaking in her column for OK! magazine she explained: "You have probably read about the huge 'Corrie' storyline that will be broadcast in the New Year.
"There's a minibus crash and I can exclusively reveal that my character Michelle Connor is heavily involved in the storyline."
Staff of the Underworld underwear factory are to be caught up in the crash as they go on a work outing in a Street Cars minibus, driven by Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson), and at least one character is to be left fighting for their life.
Kym promises fans should be in for a treat with the stunt.
She continued: "It's so exciting being involved in such a dramatic storyline and having seen the scripts I can guarantee you'll be glued to your screens. I'd love to tell you more but I can't."
Scenes will be filmed before Christmas with suitable locations being scouted to ensure the scenes - airing next year - are as spectacular as possible.
