There’s never a quiet week on Albert Square, and the next few days are going to be no different in EastEnders. With plenty on the line for many of the characters we’ve grown to love, here’s exactly what we’ve learned about the goings on in Walford coming up…

Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) is threatened by Caleb Malone (Ben Freeman) as our episodes kickoff this week, as he tells her that an extra package has been added to those she needs to carry and, if she fails to comply, that there will be deadly consequences.

Of course agreeing to protect herself and those she loves, it looks as though the gig is up when she puts her baggage through the scanner at the airport, before seeing it taken aside and opened up by the workers there who are tasked with inspecting anything suspicious.

As she watches the zipper be undone, she braces herself for the truth to be exposed. Surely, there’s no working her way out of this one?

Meanwhile, Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) finally tells Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) the truth about Ian Beale’s (Adam Woodyatt) disappearance.

Later in the week, she agrees that throwing a leaving party as she prepares to wave the Queen Vic pub goodbye would be for the best, allowing Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) the opportunity to play party planner, with her first port of call being to ask Kathy to work on catering.

When the party does come around, the lack of interest leaves Sharon feeling hurt. Kim realises that she put the wrong date on the invites; but will she be willing to admit the mistake to Sharon, or will her embarrassment get the better of her?

Also this week, Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) continues to meddle in Ash Panesar (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha) and Peter Beale's (Dayle Hudson) relationship, leading to a major confrontation between mother and daughter. Though Suki walks off seemingly unaffected, it’s unlikely the Panesar family matriarch will let her little one’s biting words go unpunished.

EastEnders continues this week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday with a double episode. There’s no Friday episode this week due to the annual Comic Relief charity fundraiser.

CORONATION STREET SPOILERS: Leanne turns drug dealer as Alina confesses her romantic feelings to Tyrone

If you thought the writers of Coronation Street would consider giving Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) some lighter storylines any time soon, you’d be wrong. Things go from bad to worse this week, when she gets in over her head in trying to protect Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) from the drug-dealing thugs he has aligned himself with…
